According to the museum's website, this award-winning institution, dedicated to enriching educational opportunities for children aged 10 and under through interactive exhibits and engaging programs, has been a cornerstone of the community since its opening on March 11, 2000.

The 2024 Daily Voice Readers' Choice contest to name the Best of the Best in Fairfield County began with reader nominations in October and ended with a voting period for finalists in 80+ categories in December.
